Say I have a standard DirecTV receiver box and get standard service, whatever the cheap account is. Can I buy one of the HD receiver boxes on ebay or amazon or whatever for ~$100 and swap my card into it and still get service? I don't mind if it isn't HD service, I'm mostly interested in the physical connectors on the HD receiver vs. the SD receiver. The SD box only has s-video and composite video out and RCA style stereo out. The HD box has HDMI and component as well as digital audio output which would make my life a lot easier (having hdmi through the wall to my TV and whatnot).
